Alice grew up in London during World War II, witnessing the Blitz and enduring the hardships of war. Rationing, blackouts, and uncertainty shaped her resilience, adaptability, and strong work ethic. Her ability to remain steadfast under pressure became a defining trait, inspiring Alice Rose Recruitment’s commitment to perseverance, precision, and excellence.

Born in Germany in 1930, Rose’s childhood was marked by the devastation of World War II. Experiencing hardship, displacement, and the struggle to rebuild instilled in her a deep sense of determination and resourcefulness. Her unwavering strength and ability to overcome adversity continue to influence Alice Rose Recruitment’s core values of resilience, dedication, and integrity.

In 2019, brothers Harry and Charlie Brown co-founded Alice Rose Recruitment in honour of their grandmothers, Alice and Rose. Inspired by their resilience and values, they set out to support London’s construction industry, providing expert recruitment solutions to help companies build exceptional teams.

In 2022, Alice Rose Recruitment shifted its focus from London’s construction market to the New York Tri-State area.
